We avoided blocking soffit vents and planned for safe clearances around fixtures and mechanical equipment.

Accessibility upgrades were folded into the same work windows to limit repeated disruption. We evaluated lever handles, better task lighting, non-slip transitions, and a safer route from parking to the kitchen. When framing was open, we considered adding blocking for future grab bars or handrails even if they were not installed immediately.

Solar panel maintenance basics were built into the design so the system would remain easy to care for. We ensured there was safe roof access planning, clear pathways required by local codes, and space for service shutoffs. We also documented a simple maintenance routine such as visual checks after storms and periodic monitoring of production readings.
